Biographical Information[edit]

First baseman John Streza led the 1939 Mountain State League with 185 hits and 127 runs. He played in the minors from 1938-1956, missing the 1942-1945 seasons, but never reaching one of the elite minor league loops. He drove in 100 or more runs five times and batted .300 or better 10 times.
