Biographical Information

John Soteropulos was an infielder who saw limited playing time at the University of California, Berkeley from 2013 to 2015, then as a graduate student with a year of eligibility left, he was a regular for the California State University, Dominguez Hills in 2017, where he batted .345 in 43 games. He was not drafted.

He joined Driveline Baseball Enterprises in 2019, where he worked as a hitting trainer. He joined the Boston Red Sox in January 2023, first as a batting instructor at their training complex in Fort Myers, FL, then became a minor league hitting coordinator a year later. In 2026, he was named Major League Assistant Hitting Coach for the Red Sox.
