Biographical Information[edit]

John Cebuhar played in the minor leagues and for the USA national baseball team.

Cebuhar was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the 7th round of the 1985 Amateur Draft and the 9th round of the 1986 Amateur Draft out of junior college, but did not sign either time and attended the University of Arkansas instead. He represented the USA in the 1987 Intercontinental Cup, winning the Silver Medal. [1] The St. Louis Cardinals picked him in the 14th round of the 1988 Amateur Draft, and he was 3-3 with a 3.35 ERA for the Hamilton Redbirds in his first season. He went 4-4 with a 3.27 ERA in 1989 for the Redbirds, and his professional career ended.
