Biographical Information[edit]
Joe Strem played college ball at the schools listed above and graduated from Saint Xavier University in 2021 with a degree in Political Science and Government.
Even before graduating, Strem embarked on a career in coaching which is detailed in his LinkedIn profile.[1] From 2020-2023 he worked in a variety of roles. These included two stints as an assistant college coach in 2021 and a year as a Player Development Baseball Systems Associate with the New York Mets in 2022.
According to his LinkedIn profile, the Atlanta Braves hired Strem for a Player Development Video & Technology Apprenticeship in 2023. The next year they promoted him to pitching coach of the DSL Braves, a position he repeated in 2025.
