Joe Posnanski

Joe Posnanski has written for the Kansas City Star, Cincinnati Post and Sports Illustrated and books, The Soul of Baseball about Buck O'Neil and The Machine about the Cincinnati Reds of the mid-1970s. He won the Associated Press Sports Editors' award for "Best Sports Columnist" in 2002 and 2005 and was named "National Sportswriter of the Year" by the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association in 2012.

He has published a number of books, mainly about sports subject, but also including a biography of magician Harry Houdini
