Biographical Information[edit]
Jo Jo Smith played in the minor leagues and for the USA national baseball team.
Smith represented the USA in the 1990 Goodwill Games and 1990 Baseball World Cup. The Los Angeles Dodgers picked him in the 18th round of the 1991 Amateur Draft, and he was 7-3 with a 4.92 ERA in 1991 for the Yakima Bears. Smith went 1-1 with a 4.26 ERA for the Bakersfield Dodgers in 1992, and he allowed 7 runs in 4 2/3 innings for the Great Falls Dodgers then he left the team. Smith appeared with the Evansville Otters in 2001, but his ERA was 7.36 in 9 appearances and his professional career ended.
