Jim Weber became the Toledo Mud Hens play-by-play announcer in 1975 and added traveling secretary to his duties in 1984. In 2014, he was inducted into the International League Hall of Fame in a class with slugger Jeff Manto and manager Dave Miley. Weber was the first announcer ever picked for the IL Hall.
