Biographical Information

Jiayue Zhang played for the Beijing Tigers in the China Baseball League, and he represented China in the 2025 Asian Championship. He was 0-for-2 against Pakistan, and he went 0-for-1 versus the Philippines. Zhang was hitless in 2 at-bats against Japan, and he hit a single against Kang-hoon Woo of South Korea. He went 0-for-3 versus Chinese Taipei, and he was China's starting third baseman in the Bronze Medal Game. However, he had a 0-for-4 record, and China lost to South Korea in the game. It was very likely that he is the brother of Jiashuo Zhang.
