Biographical Information[edit]
Infielder Jesús Made was signed by the Milwaukee Brewers as an international amateur free agent on January 15, 2024. It did not take long for him to be labelled as a phenom, especially after he was named both a mid-season and post-season in the Dominican Summer League, and a Rookie-Class All-Star, after his first professional season with the DSL Brewers 1 at age 17. In 51 games, he batted .331/.458/.554 with 6 homers and 28 RBIs. He also stole 28 bases while being caught just 4 times.
He continued his rapid climb through the minor league ladder in 2025, when he started the season with the Carolina Mudcats of the Carolina League, then after 83 games was promoted to the High-A Wisconsin Timber Rattlers on August 5th. He breezed through that level in just a month, and on September 8th was moved up again, this time to the Biloxi Shuckers of the AA Southern League, making him the youngest player to appear at the level that year. In between, he also played in the 2025 Futures Game and in 115 games overall, he hit .285/.379/.413 with 81 runs, 6 homers and 61 RBIs, and 47 steals in 60 attempts. He was a post-season All-Star in the Carolina League in addition to being named the circuit's top prospect and was named to the All-Prospect second team by MiLB.com. Defensively, he was primarily a shortstop with a few games at third base as well.
He entered the 2026 season as the #4 prospect in baseball according to Baseball America. He held his own as a non-roster invitee in spring training with the Brewers that year, going 9 for 29 (.310) with a triple and 6 RBIs, as the youngest player in camp. He was then assigned to the Biloxi Shuckers of the AA Southern League to begin the season. On April 5th - Easter Sunday - he had a four-hit game with a homer, a walk and a stolen base in a 9-8 loss to the Rocket City Trash Pandas, after going 1 for 10 in his first two starts. At that point, he was the only player below age 20 playing in the league.
