Biographical Information[edit]
Jesse Truman Reynolds was a minor league pitcher and outfielder who played from 1901 to 1909. He reached Class A with the Columbus Senators, New Orleans Pelicans, and Denver Grizzlies. His other clubs included the Vicksburg Hill Climbers, Natchez Indians, Manchester, Charleston Sea Gulls, Columbia Skyscrapers, Charlotte Hornets, Columbia Gamecocks, Ottumwa Champs, and Roanoke Tigers.
In addition to playing, Reynolds managed the Vicksburg Hill Climbers in 1902 and began 1908 as manager of Charlotte before resigning on May 26 [1]. He coached baseball at Clemson University in 1909, then returned to the Roanoke Tigers after obtaining leave from that club to work with Clemson[1]
