Biographical Information[edit]
Jesse Bragg played with several independent Black baseball teams for 12 seasons in the years preceding the establishment of the Negro National League in 1920.[1]
Debuting as a third baseman for the New York Colored Giants in 1906, Bragg mainly played for the Cuban Giants, Brooklyn Royal Giants and New York Lincoln Giants. He also played for Habana in the Cuban Winter League in 1909.[2]
