Biographical Information

Outfielder Jay Roberts was selected by the Atlanta Braves in the first round of the 1981 amateur draft, with the 12th overall pick, but never played above the Class A level in four minor league seasons. He later played football at the University of Washington. Roberts died in a car accident at age 35.
