Jason Roos caught for the South African national team that won the 1999 All Africa Games, splitting duties with Willem Kemp. He hit .438/?/.500 with 9 RBI. Amazingly, he had the second-lowest average and lowest slugging on the high-powered South African offense that averaged over 30 runs per game, while he tied for 7th in RBI.
