Biographical Information[edit]
Outfielder Jason Place who played his high school baseball at Wren High School was selected by the Boston Red Sox in the first round of the 2006 amateur draft. He was signed by scout Rob English and made his pro debut that year with the GCL Red Sox, hitting .292 with 4 homers and 21 RBIs in 33 games.
