Biographical Information[edit]
Isaki Yoshida played in Nippon Pro Baseball for 9 years.
Yoshida signed with the Nagoya club in 1939, and he went 1-for-6 in his first season. He then had a .214/.296/.296 batting line in 103 games in 1940, and he hit .193/.290/.287 in 1941. Masuda struggled again in 1942 as his batting line was .194/.267/.259, and he tied Tsuruo Otsuka and Hiroyoshi Tsukamoto for 9th in steals in the JPBL. He hit .254/.343/.327 in 83 games in 1943, and went 1-for-14 in 1944. Yoshida missed the rest of the season after he enlisted into the military. He returned in 1950 with the Shochiku Robins, and he hit .261/.339/.452 with a career-high 13 homers. He had a .231/.290/.327 batting line in 101 games in 1951, but he only played 17 games with a .279/.319/.500 batting line in 1952 then he announced his retirement.
Overall, Yoshida hit .223/.301/.323 with 473 hits and 30 homers in 9 seasons in NPB.
