Biographical Information[edit]

Ilka Arunia Emogene has been on the Indonesian women's national team.

When Indonesia's women's team debuted in the 2023 Women's Baseball Asian Cup, she hit 9th and played third base in their first game, versus fellow newcomer Sri Lanka. She drew a walk from Harshika Priyadarshani Kahennalage her first time up and wound up scoring 3 runs that game. [1] In the opening round, she hit .500/.692/.667 and tied Agnes Laura Berta Regoy for second with 7 runs (2 behind Hanifa Safiyandini), tied Safiyandini for 8th in OBP, tied Afiska Louhenapessy and Safiyandi for the RBI lead (6), tied Ayesha Ejaz for second in walks (5, one behind Minahil Ahmed), was 5th with 7 steals and tied Lok-Yi Hung and Zahida Ghani for the most assists (6). Things did not go as well against the tougher competition in the main round as she was 0 for 6 with a walk, hit-by-pitch and run. [2]

Emogene hit .308/.526/.462 with 6 runs, 5 RBI and 7 steals in 7 tries in 6 games in the 2025 Women's Baseball Asian Cup Qualifiers as Indonesia won to advance to the 2025 Women's Baseball Asian Cup. She tied for 10th in RBI. [3]
