Biographical Information[edit]

Hanifa Safiyandini was on the first Indonesian women's national team. In the 2023 Women's Baseball Asian Cup, she hit cleanup as their DH in their opening game, going 3-for-5 with a double, steal, four runs and five RBI. She hit .600/.692/.700 in the three games in the opening round, finishing among the leaders in average (tying Debby Su-Yee Mak and Ishari Nikeshala Abeywickrama Thrimanna Hettige for 5th), slugging (tying Tasmia Rubab for 7th), OBP (tying Ilka Arunia Emogene for 8th), runs (9, first, two ahead of teammates Emogene and Agnes Laura Berta Regoy), hits (6, tied Regoy for 2nd), RBI (6, tied Afiska Louhenapessy and Emogene for first), total bases (7, tied Regoy and Rubab for 2nd) and putouts (11, tying Louhenapessy for 6th, as she played first as well as DH in the round). In the main round, she was 4-for-12 with a double, walk, two steals and a RBI, fielding .889 as a 1B/OF. Her double was off Jyoti Pawar of India. Only Regoy had more hits or a better OPS for Indonesia. [1]
