Biographical Information

Ikumasa Oshima was drafted by the Hankyu Braves in the 2nd round of the 1972 NPB draft, and he stayed in the NPB Farm Leagues in his first season. He was 1-for-10 in 1974, and he went 1-for-14 in 1976. Oshima was 2-for-19 in 1977, then the Braves traded him to the Taiyo Whales for Kiyoshi Tanioka in 1978. He didn't reach the big club in 1979, and he announced his retirement.
