Biographical Information

Hyun-chang Jung has played in Korea Baseball Organization.

Jung was drafted by the NC Dinos in the 7th round of the 2025 KBO draft, and he was traded with Si-hoon Kim and Jae-seung Han to the KIA Tigers for Won-jun Choi, Woo-seong Lee and Jong-pyo Hong. Jung was 5-for-19 in 2025, and he represented South Korea in the 2025 Asian Championship. He was 2-for-3 with a RBI triple against Chun-Pui Mok of Hong Kong, and he was 0-for-1 versus Chinese Taipei. Jung then went 3-for-4 with 3 RBI against Palestine, but he was hitless in 5 at-bats against China. He went 1-for-3 against Japan, and he was their starting second baseman in the Bronze Medal game. Jung was 1-for-3 with a double against Jiahong Mi, and Korea beat China to won Bronze. He tied for 8th in the event in hits (7) and tied for 8th in RBI (5).
