Biographical Information

Hokuto Ohyama has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Ohyama was drafted by the Softbank Hawks in the 8th round of the development phase in the 2025 NPB draft; the scout was Atsushi Fukumoto. He made his NPB debut on July 4, 2026 against the Chiba Lotte Marines, but he allowed 8 runs in 2 innings and got the loss. He became the first Japanese pitcher in NPB to give up a home run on the game's first pitch, with that being his first career pitch.
