Biographical Information

Hiroyuki Yamaoka was drafted by the Hanshin Tigers in the 5th round of the 1997 NPB draft, and he had a 4.50 ERA in 21 games in 1998. He pitched 5 games in 1999, and he recorded a 5.06 ERA in 15 games in 2000 Yamaoka failed to return to the big club again before he announced his retirement in 2002.
