Biographical Information

Hidetaka Okadome has pitched in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Okadome was drafted by the Hanshin Tigers in the 5th round of the 2021 NPB draft; the scout was Makoto Yoshino. He had a 1.54 ERA in 36 appearances in the NPB Farm Leagues in 2022, then he pitched 8 games with a 1.29 ERA in 2022 for the big club. Okadome relieved Jeremy Beasley in the 7th inning of the 2023 Nippon Series Game 2, but he allowed 2 hits to Leandro Cedeño and Yuma Tongu, and he surrendered 3 runs. The Tigers still beat the Orix Buffaloes in 7 games. Okadome notched 6 holds with a 2.84 ERA in 35 appearances in 2024.

Okadome's repertoire included a fastball (peak 96.3 mph), slider, cutter and curveball.
