Biographical Information

Hideo Igarashi was drafted by the Kintetsu Buffaloes in the 7th round of the 1967 NPB draft, and he only pitched 4 games combined in his first two seasons. He had a 2.45 ERA in 6 games in 1970, and he went 1-1 with a 5.54 ERA in 1972. Igarashi was 1-1 again with a 4.32 ERA in 1973, and he only got 5 more appearances before he announced his retirement in 1977.
