Heino von Bargen pitched 2/3 of an inning for the German national team in the 1992 B-Level European Championship. In the 1993 European Championship, he had a 3.68 ERA in two outings. He did walk 7 in 7 1/3 IP, though. He was 9th in the event in opponent average (.193, between Roberto Cabalisti and Roger De Saedeleer).
