Biographical Information

Heiner Monge has been on the Costa Rican national team.

He was with Costa Rica for the 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games Central American Qualifier but did not play. He and his father Yader Monge became the first father-son duo to play for Costa Rica at the same time. He won a Silver Medal with Costa Rica in the 2025 Central American Games. Their only prior Silver in baseball in a Central American Games had been back in 1986.
