Biographical Information

Haruya Tanaka has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Tanaka was drafted by the Chiba Lotte Marines in the 3rd round of the 2022 NPB draft, the scout was Atsushi Kobayashi. He had a 1.13 ERA in 5 games in the NPB Farm Leagues in 2023, and he went 1-2 with a 2.73 ERA in 2024. Tanaka made his NPB debut on June 1, and he was 1-1 with a 1.80 ERA for the top team that season. He started 13 games for the big club in 2025, and he had a 3-5 record with a 2.48 ERA.
