Biographical Information

Harutaka Kuramoto was drafted by the Yakult Swallows in the 3rd round of the 2017 NPB draft; the scout was Yoichi Okabayashi. He stayed in the NPB Farm Leagues in 2018, and he allowed 13 runs in 12 1/3 innings in 2019. Kuramoto didn't return to the big club again, and he announced his retirement in 2021. In the minors, he had gone 8-4 with 3 saves and a 3.35 ERA in 88 games.
