Biographical Information

Haruo Nakazawa was drafted by the Kintetsu Buffaloes in the third round of the 1970 NPB draft, and he went 0-for-10 in 26 games in his first season, primarily a defensive sub at third base. He only got 12 more at-bats before he announced his retirement in 1974.
