Biographical Information

Haruki Sugiyama has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Sugiyama was drafted by the Seibu Lions in the third round of the 2023 NPB draft; the scout was Jun Takeshita. He was 3-3 with a 3.48 ERA in the NPB Farm Leagues in 2024, and he made his NPB debut on September 12 against the Rakuten Golden Eagles. Sugiyama was 4-6 with a 4.44 ERA in the minors in 2025, and he started one game for the top team.
