Hampton University

Hampton University sponsored baseball from at least 1958 to 1972. The school was a longtime member of the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association and the baseball team's tenure was in the CIAA. The school joined the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference in 1995-1996, and moved to the Colonial Athletic Association in 2022-2023 for other sports. Previously known as the Hampton Institute, it is a historically black college. Sportswriter A.S. Young was a graduate and Mo'ne Davis played softball here.
