Biographical Information[edit]
Grady Higginbotham was the brother of Roswell Higginbotham. Grady was born in Howe, Texas on August 15, 1898. He died on May 26, 1943 in Quonset Point, Rhode Island.
Grady went 20-6 for the Denison Blue Sox to lead the Texas-Oklahoma League in winning percentage. He managed the 1922 Sherman Red Sox to a 48-60 record. Higginbotham later was head coach of Texas Tech University (1928-1929) and Texas A&M University (1930-1935). He also coached basketball and football at the college level.
