Biographical Information[edit]
Goro Kobayashi played in Nippon Pro Baseball for 4 years.
Kobayashi signed with the Nankai club in 1938, and he hit .157/.298/.179 in 40 games in the fall season. He played 96 games with a .228/.323/.261 batting line in 1939, then he enlisted to the military and missed the next six years. Kobayashi returned in 1946, and he went 1-for-4 in 6 games. He had a .175/.244/.188 batting line in 1947, and he announced his retirement.
Overall, Kobayashi hit .197/.293/.221 with 140 hits in 4 seasons in NPB.
