Biographical Information[edit]
Goji Hisano was drafted by the Hanshin Tigers in the 4th round of the 1965 NPB draft, and he went 1-6 with a 2.81 ERA in 1966. He had a 7.00 ERA in 12 appearances in 1968, and he pitched 12 games with a 1.08 ERA in 1969. He allowed 10 runs in 8 2/3 innings in 1970, and he went to the Nishitetsu Lions in the middle of the season. Hisano's ERA was 5.63 in 11 games in the rest of the season, and he only pitched one game in 1971 then he announced his retirement.
Overall, Hisano went 3-8 with a 3.72 ERA, struck out 71 and pitched 162 1/3 innings in 5 seasons in NPB.
