Biographical Information

Gedryon Basilia was 0-3 with a 19.70 ERA and 4.70 WHIP in 11 games for the Silicon Storks in the 2021 Hoofdklasse. He was on the Curaçao national team for the 2025 Bolivarian Games and was excellent in his lone outing. Facing Silver Medal-bound Peru, he allowed one hit (to Rider Zevallos) over the first six innings of shutout ball (walking two and striking out one, Gabriel Hernández). He carried a 3-0 lead into the 7th but was yanked after walking Susumu Yoza (he had thrown 80 pitches only); Cedeon Langguth took over and let Yoza score plus two more as Peru rallied to win in 11. He was 9th in the Games in ERA (between Marco Castellano and Marlison Brunken) and his .053 opponent average was second to Ken Ishihara's .043. His brother Givaine Basilia played in the minors.
