Gardner Goodrich Willard
Biographical Information[edit]
Gardner Willard worked one game in the National Association as an umpire in 1871, the circuit's first season. He also played as a shortstop for the Harvard club in the National Association of Base Ball Players in the 1860s according to Marshall Wright's book about the league.
