Biographical Information

Fuga Ohtake has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.

Ohtake was drafted by the Softbank Hawks in the 5th round of the 2021 NPB draft; the scout was Kazuhide Sakuyama. He underwent Tommy John surgery, and he missed his first three seasons. Ohtake pitched one game in the NPB Farm Leagues in 2024, and he was 1-3 with a 4.50 ERA for the Gigantes de Carolina in the winter. He was 1-7 with a 5.70 ERA in the minors in 2025, and he made his NPB debut on April 21, 2026 against the Seibu Lions; he got his first strikeout against Seiya Watanabe.
