Biographical Information[edit]

Infielder Francis Finnerty played in the Cleveland Indians system from 1999 to 2001, peaking at Low-A, hitting .237/.281/.325 with 10 home runs and 63 RBI in 140 games. He returned to pro ball with the independent Aiken Foxhounds of the South Coast League in 2007, batting .323/.397/.415 in 24 games there.

He was originally taken by the Indians in the 12th round of the 1999 amateur draft, a couple picks ahead of outfielder Lew Ford.
