Filippo Crepaldi has pitched in the Italian Baseball League.
Crepaldi was 1-0 with two runs in 10 innings in the 2009 European Junior Championship, beating the Czech Republic. In the 2010 World Junior Championship, he shut out the Netherlands for six innings in a duel with Lars Huijer but faded in the 7th and Italy lost. He participated in the MLB European Academy that year. He made his Italian Baseball League debut in 2013, going 4-2 with two saves and a 1.94 ERA for Palfinger Reggio Emilia. He was 7th in the league in ERA, between Italian national team hurlers Matteo D'Angelo and Tiago Da Silva. Crepaldi moved to Fortitudo Bologna after the season ended. He was with them for the 2013 Asia Series, losing game 1 against the Samsung Lions after relieving Bobby Blevins; he tossed a scoreless 7th against the South Korean champs but let a runner reach in the 8th, who wound up scoring when Junior Oberto gave up a homer to Seung-yeop Lee.
