Biographical Information[edit]
Erika Nakae has been on the Japanese women's national team.
After college, she signed with the Hanshin Tigers' women's team. [1] In the 2023 Women's Baseball Asian Cup, she debuted as a replacement for Yuki Kawabata at first base in a win over South Korea. Her first time up, she drew a walk from Song-hee Choi. Her first hit was off Indonesia's Gabriella Midaratri Ananda. She finished the tourney 3-for-6 with 3 walks, 5 runs and 3 RBI for the champs. Japan advanced to the 2023-2024 Women's Baseball World Cup. She appeared in the 2023 portion, going 1-for-3 with a walk, two times plunked and four runs. Japan won the title. [3]
