Biographical Information

Elbee Dam, also sometimes called Bill Dam, was born Elbridge Rust Dam and played one game for the Boston Doves in 1909. He went 1-for-2 with a double and a walk, giving him a batting line of .500/.667/1.000. In left field, he had one put-out and no errors.

Dam was born in the Boston area, in Cambridge, MA, and played in the New England League.

After baseball he did something that logically connects with the Eastern seaboard - he was a shellfish dealer.
