Biographical Information

Eiji Takaoka was drafted by the Chunichi Dragons in the 6th round of the 1965 NPB draft, and he allowed 2 runs in 2 1/3 innings in 1966. He was 1-1 with a 5.63 ERA in 1967, but he failed to return to the big club in 1968 and he announced his retirement.
