Biographical Information

Eiichi Nakano was drafted by the Chunichi Dragons in the 4th round of the 1996 NPB draft, and he hit .130/.167/.174 in 12 games in 1997. He was 6-for-29 in 1998, and he stayed in the minors in the next three seasons. Nakano had a 2-for-9 record in 2002, then he hit .271/.340/.396 in 25 games in 2003. He only played one game in 2004, and he announced his retirement.

Overall, Nakano hit .218/.277/.355 with 24 hits in 5 seasons in NPB.
