Biographical Information[edit]
Edison Reynoso played in the minor leagues and in Nippon Pro Baseball.
Reynoso signed with the Hiroshima Carp in 1999 (he was a product of the Carp's Dominican baseball academy), and he had a 9.00 ERA in 9 games in his first season. He allowed 6 runs in 2 innings in 2000, and the Carp released him. Reynoso then signed with the New York Yankees, and he had a 3.93 ERA in 5 games for the Norwich Navigators in 2001. He also pitched one game for each of the Staten Island Yankees and Tampa Yankees, then he missed a season due to injuries. Reynoso was 8-8 with a 6.87 ERA for the Trenton Thunder in 2003, and he left the team. He went 1-2 with a 7.48 ERA for the North Shore Spirit in 2004, and he also recorded a 8.05 ERA in 6 games for the Newark Bears. Reynoso announced his retirement after the 2004 season.
