Biographical Information[edit]
Danilo De Jesus played in the minors and for the Dominican national team.
De Jesus came out of the Hiroshima Carp's Baseball Academy in Dominican Republic, and he notched 12 saves with a 2.06 ERA in 42 appearances for the Kochi Fighting Dogs in 2014. He then signed with the Carp, and he had a 4.21 ERA in 12 games in the NPB Farm Leagues in 2015. He also pitched a shutout inning for the Aguilas Cibaenas in the winter, and he represented the Dominican Republic in the 2015 Premier 12. De Jesus allowed 2 runs in an inning against Japan, and Yasuhiro Ogawa got the win over him. He then relieved Francisco Rondón in the 7th inning against Venezuela national baseball team, and he pitched 1 2/3 shutout innings with 2 walks. De Jesus then pitched 3 games for the Delfines de Ciudad del Carmen in 2016, but he allowed 4 runs in 2 2/3 innings and his professional career ended.
