Biographical Information[edit]
Daniel de Mondesert was a catcher at the University of Arkansas, Fort Smith, but never played baseball professionally. After earning a bachelor's degree in finance in 2020, he went to the business school at the University of Arkansas to pursue a graduate degree in statistics and analytics and also worked as a graduate assistant coach with the school's baseball team. He also served an internship with the Texas Rangers in 2021, at their training complex in the Dominican Republic.
In December of 2021, he was hired by the Milwaukee Brewers who named him a development coach with the Carolina Mudcats. In 2023, he moved up to the parent team as a bullpen catcher, and in 2024 was promoted to a major league assistant coach position. De Mondesert continued as an assistant coach in 2025.
De Mondesert also gained some international coaching experience. He was an assistant manager for the Toros del Este during the 2025/2026 Dominican League season.
