Daisuke Nakashima has played in Nippon Pro Baseball.
Nakashima was drafted by the Rakuten Golden Eagles in the 6th round of the 2023 NPB draft; the scout was Toshiyuki Hesaka. [1] He hit .277/.327/.384 with 13 steals in the NPB Farm Leagues in 2024, and he played 37 games with a .228/.258/.333 batting line with the big club. Nakashima then became one of Rakuten's starting outfielders in 2025, and he collected 22 steals with a .266/.294/.351 batting line. He tied Shigeo Nagashima's NPB record as he hit a triple in 4 consecutive games, and he tied for 6th in the Pacific League in triples (5, even with Naoki Sato and Sosuke Genda) and was 5th in steals.
