Biographical Information[edit]
Collin McBride played college ball at Northwestern College and graduated with a degree in Exercise Science/Strength and Conditioning in 2017. After college he became co-owner of a baseball and softball training facility. He later joined the College of Central Florida for the 2019 season as the team's hitting/strength and conditioning coach. He remained in this position through 2021.
The Texas Rangers hired McBride in 2022 as the hitting coach for the Down East Wood Ducks. McBride moved to the Minnesota Twins' organization as hitting coach of the FCL Twins in 2023, development coach of the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels in 2024, and hitting coach of the FCL Twins in 2025. McBride moved again to the Baltimore Orioles' chain as hitting coach for the Delmarva Shorebirds in 2026.
