In 2017, he was a volunteer assistant coach at the University of West Virginia, then moved to the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley as an assistant coach in 2018. He worked as a minor league coach in the Cincinnati Reds organization in 2019 before being hired by the Texas Rangers where he was named the minor league Director of Hitting, overseeing the work of all of the organization's minor league hitting coaches.
In 2026, he was hired by the Toronto Blue Jays to be their assistant hitting coach, replacing Hunter Mense.
