Biographical Information[edit]
Cliff Daringer played all over the country in eight minor league seasons (1906-13), the last with the Federal League's Covington/Kansas City team, where he led the league with 86 runs. Daringer remained with Kansas City for its first major league season in 1914, playing shortstop, third base and second base, and batting .263 in 64 games. Daringer finished his professional career with two seasons (1915-16) in the Three-I League. Daringer's brother Rolla played briefly with the St. Louis Cardinals in 1914 and 1915.
