Biographical Information[edit]

Ching-Hsien Ko has played in the minors leagues. His cousin Wei-En Lin also pitched in the minors.

Ko represented Taiwan in the 2023 U-18 Baseball World Cup and hit .550/.690/.750 with 7 walks in 9 games, leading in average (.008 ahead of Ren Ogata), leading in OBP (.034 ahead of Ogata), leading in slugging (.098 ahead of Dimas Oda), finishing second in hits (11, two behind Ogata) and tying for the walk lead. He was named the event's Outstanding Defensive Player and joined Antonis Macias and Miquel Willem as the All-Star outfielders, though the MVP went to Ogata, whose Japan beat out Taiwan for the title. In the 2024 U-18 Asian Baseball Championship, he batted .417/.556/.667 with five runs in five games. He tied for 8th in runs and Taiwan won it all. The Los Angeles Dodgers signed him on June 17, 2024 with a $750,000 signing bonus. Ko hit .241/.450/.448 in 10 games for the DSL Dodgers Bautista in his first season as a professional player.
